You Are Enough.

This has been somewhat of a theme in my life lately, and I wanted to share this message with you because I think it's something that honestly can't be emphasized enough.

I have often found myself trying to convince the world (myself included) that I am good enough and that I am deserving of the things that I am asking for in life. I have a practice of using affirmations in my daily life (something that I highly recommend - more on that later!), and they often serve as powerful reminders of my truth when I forget, or mantras to keep me focused throughout the day. But sometimes I find myself affirming these wonderful statements, and then subconsciously waiting for proof that they're actually true.

This little game I realized that I play goes a little something like this: First, I affirm...

I Am powerful.

I Am worthy.

I Am enough.

Etc...

And then I look for clues in my daily life that those things are indeed true. And if I don't feel that I'm getting the adequate proof, well then I must have been wrong about myself. Maybe I'm not all those amazing things. Because if I were, then X or Y would have happened already and everything would be going super well in my life at all times, right? Wrong.

The truth is that I already am all of those qualities and I already am good enough internally, regardless of what's going on externally. And so are you. We don't actually have to do anything to be worthy of love and abundance and success. We are worthy simply because we were born, and we are enough just the way we are!

And the amazing thing is, once we realize and accept the fact that we are already enough, all of that proof we were searching for begins to show up effortlessly and gracefully. We aren't trying to force it anymore or grasp blindly for it in a desperate attempt to prove our worth. We become confident and assured of our innate worth and the external evidence shows up as a bonus of living an authentic life.

So next time you find yourself trying to prove your worth to yourself or anyone else, stop and take a breath with your eyes closed. Then remind yourself that you already have everything you need within you, and you don't need to force a single thing. You. Are. Enough. Repeat that to yourself over and over again until you believe it, because it's the truth.

With so much love,

Megan
